Parking/Viewing at City Complex

The Friends of the Gatesville Public Library offers paid parking at the

Gatesville Civic Center/Sports Complex parking lot

for the day of the eclipse beginning at 7am.

Pre-purchase of a parking space assures you a legal and safe

area to park and observe.

There is ample space to move around the grounds and set up your own viewing spot.

Chairs, telescopes, cameras, and coolers are allowed.

The area will feature:

• Open space for unobscured viewing

• Public Restrooms

• Food/Merchandise Vendors

• NASA Ambassadors providing information/education on baseball field

Parking Passes cover all occupants of a standard vehicle (car, pickup, SUV, etc).

Oversized vehicles (buses, RVs, commercial trucks, etc.) should email

sharp@gatesvilletx.com

to make arrangements for larger space.

Save your receipt as proof of purchase. We will also send an email with more

details and reminders around a week before April 8th.
